Hope for the Convalescent Home

The Federation meet with the Cuban Ambassador, with the view to get medical practitioner to work at the convalescent home in St. Elizabeth and to discuss the Cuba Eye Care Programme. Initially, our members benefited from the Cuba Eye Programme, as we were allowed to accomodate the Cuban practioners at our facilities for the screening of our members. This however was short lived as the Ministry of Health thought it best that our members accessed the Government's Facilities.
A Courageous walk in the dark
The Federation wishes to introduce Mr. Rohan Brown, an author and a fellow officer with his book entitled "A Courageous walk in the dark". This book depicts some of the struggles which Mr. Rohan Brown underwent in his young days growing up and some of the major hurdles he had as a blind person and how he dealt with them.
Cuban Eye Care Programme
The Cuban Eye Care Programme will be hosting an eye clinic, designed for Police Officers. May 24, 2012 at the National Chest Clinic. We encourage all our members to make use of this programme and take good care of your health.
