Detective Constable Nigel A Murphy is past student of the Brimmer Vale High School located in Bailey’s Vale, St. Mary. He’s also the founder and President of the Brimmer Vale High Past Student Association and currently a member of the Board of Management for the Institution. He attended the Collage of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE) located in Portland where he attained an Associate of Science Degree and a Diploma both in Agricultural Science.
In 2010 he joined the Jamaica Constabulary Force and upon graduating he was assigned to the Organized Crime Investigations Division (OCID), now the Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime Investigations Branch (C-TOC), where he was a member of the Electronic Fraud Task Force.
In 2014 he commenced part-time studies at the University of The West Indies, Mona in the Faculty of Law. He is passionate about advocacy and as such he represents members both at the Court of Enquiry and Orderly Room Island wide.
He is a Christian and a firm believer in God, and is a part of the New Testament Church of God body. He firmly believes that prayer changes things no matter the situation.
